01 / COMPACT LID ARCHITECTURE

A clear path. A considered system.

Follow the proposed water path through the lid. Paired gears illustrate the metering idea, while the electronics have a separate dry bay.

01

Encoder

Sip tracking. The proposed encoder translates gear motion into a sip-tracking signal. Calibration and actual captured volume still require testing.

02

Alternator

Power creation. The proposed alternator converts mechanical motion into electrical power. Output and energy balance still require engineering validation.

03

Battery

Power storage. The proposed battery stores power for the electronics. Capacity, charging and operating time are not yet verified.

02 / CENTERED STRAW + GEAR CAVITY

Every part has a place.

A closer view of the proposed arrangement: a centered straw, paired gear elements, support cavity and surrounding circular housing.

01

Centered straw

A central straw anchors the layout and makes the proposed route easier to understand.

02

Nested mechanism

The gear elements and supports are shown within the circular lid footprint. This is a spatial design study, not a tolerance drawing.

03

Space for development

Component fit, materials, service access and seal design remain engineering work in progress.

APP PREVIEWWaiting
No sample yet

The app panel updates only after a complete playback.

A design simulation, not a product reading. Liquid flow, gear motion, power highlights and app feedback are scripted. The counter uses one virtual pulse per simulated mL for explanation, not device calibration. US fluid ounce and US cup values are display conversions only.

WET CAVITY / DRY SYSTEM BAY

A compact, nested path.

The concept places a wet cavity around the water path, while a separate dry system bay gives the electronic context its own enclosure.

Both illustrated gears sit in the proposed wet cavity beneath the straw. The encoder supports the proposed sip-tracking signal. The alternator is intended to convert mechanical motion into electrical power, and the battery provides the proposed power storage. Final calibration, energy output, radio, Bluetooth, seals, materials, and performance all require engineering validation.

One sample-sip story.
One sample-sip story from flip-up straw to an illustrative app preview. Choose a sample volume and run the animation to follow the illustrated sip story from flow to signal. 18 mL / Quick. 47 mL / Everyday. 90 mL / Full. Wet flow: Flow → Meter → Signal. Separate dry signal bay. Simulated sip / illustrative. Choose a sample volume, then follow flow, count, power context, and signal feedback. The app preview changes after the illustrative signal stage. All sample quantities and app feedback are illustrative, not measured telemetry.

Small wet meter. Big dry power room. Proposed wet path, metering cavity, dry-system bay, and companion-app context beside the live sip study. Visual callouts are illustrative only. Calibration, direct measurement, energy harvesting, radio or Bluetooth behavior, materials, sealing, and product performance require engineering validation. Centered straw over a nested gear pair. Geometry, gear mesh, materials, seals, service access, and performance remain subject to engineering validation.
Centered straw. Gear cavity.

The target is not the claim.
GULPR’s product direction is a volumetric water-intake system. These targets set the engineering brief and remain separate from verified performance until the product has been tested. Architecture / At the sip: GULPR is designed around a direct volumetric wet path in the lid, rather than a reminder-only routine or a level estimate made after the sip. System-accuracy target / ≤1%: an engineering target, not a verified claim. It requires a defined test method and independent validation across real use conditions. Internal resolution target / 0.0001 mL: a calculation-granularity target only. It does not mean the bottle is accurate to 0.0001 mL or that this value will be shown to a customer. Public validation boundary: GULPR does not currently claim exclusive market status, verified system accuracy, 0.0001 mL accuracy, capture of every sip, medical benefit, or finished-product availability. Validation must cover defined conditions including flow range, tilt, temperature, wear, cleaning, and real-world use before performance marketing.
